Out with the old, in with the new.
Floss more. Read for at least thirty minutes before bed. Train six times a week.
Limit alcohol consumption to once a week. No extraneous spending. Delete old numbers from your phone and screenshots from your hard drive. Stop talking to the hot guy who consistently wastes your time.
Take yourself on a date to see the Northern Lights in Iceland come October. See Mom take the plunge and enroll in Culinary School. Become a homeowner. Compete at Super Welterweight. Mom sees you take the plunge and enroll in your dream career.
Be kinder. If the people you love need to leave in order to become their best versions, let them. Love them from afar and be there with open arms if they decide they want to come home. Stop wishing karma upon people – someone you cared deeply for hurt you and you spent a lot of time hoping they’d get theirs. They did. And when you found out, you didn’t sleep through the night because your heart was sick knowing that not only did they have to live with pain but that you had actually hoped that they’d have to. Fight for the things that you want and the people you love. Be more thankful for the ways in which people choose to meet you.
Dance more. Play more. Watch more comedies. Stay soft.
Let go.
